Three Destinations. One Summer.

The Dog Days. Summer. Heat. Harvest. Daylight Savings Time. These are just some of the terms we use during the summer season but more than the different ways we call it, summer is one of the most awaited season in our country not only because it connotes swimming, beach or it promotes tourism to different parts of the Philippines or the world even. But, this is also a perfect time for family bonding. As for us, we went to three different amazing places and I think it would be fun to share with you guys the happy moments we had during this trip. Here are some of the photos:

Our first stop is at Lingayen Beach. If you are on a budget this is the perfect spot for you in Lingayen because it's open to the public. No entrance fee, all you have to pay for is the cottage and the shower  you'll be using.
What I love about this place and a plus point for me is that our picnic hut is actually 20 meters away from the coast which I think is excellent because people can be prevented from polluting the sea.
I am a sunset person so I want to capture as much sunsets every time we travel. For me, it makes the whole trip even more special and worth keeping.

Here's my son experiencing the sand and the waves...

And of course we wouldn't miss the chance to bury this guy alive... hahaha!

Our second stop, The Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan. We have been eyeing this tourist attraction since the day we saw pictures of our cousins standing in Governor's Island and when we got there to say that it was an overwhelming experience is an understatement because it was a total riot! We really had fun. Our eyes were all repleted.

This is me and my husband with mom and cousins on the background. Just a bit of a backstory about this picture. Before we actually got into this spot I had to go through a slightly funny dilemma. Right before this there is a floating bridge made out of orange water containers that was put together to form a pathway to this island located most likely 15 to 20 meters away from the coast. And I had to walk that unstable lane which made me actually and literally freak out. So, all the way to this spot in the picture my head was a total mess.

This is my brother and my sister in law with our little boy on the background...

And just look how my boys are undeniably loving the island...

This is mom and dad obviously having fun too...

Family picture minus me...

Meanwhile this little guy right here is all frowns because he is still up for another swim but we had to go and continue the tour...

Just how amazing the view is up here...

Our last pit stop, the city of pines, Baguio City. This is the view from the top of Bakakeng where we stayed for a night. If this is what you wake up to every morning, everyday would be a good day, marvelous even.

This is the most decent night shot I could give, sadly. I have to try harder next time.

The picturesque Mines View... Breathtaking! I don't know how many times I've said wow just looking at it.

This little guy right here pleaded so much to ride this sweet horse...

This is by far one of the happiest trip we've had. I hope we could continue making trips like this in the coming years, because this definitely makes the bond stronger and the ties even tighter.
